Greta Walker

Senior Director of Donor Relations and Communications

A native of Arkansas, Greta has called the great state of Colorado home since 1998. She joined Bridge of Life in 2014 after serving 16 years in the nonprofit industry with the Denver Rescue Mission and Mile High United Way. Greta has overseen successful marketing and public relations strategies, internal communications, fundraising initiatives, and donor networks. She strives to create sustainable change globally while creating lasting relationships in the process. She worked extensively on Denver’s Road Home, Denver’s 10-year plan to end homelessness, and is a graduate of the Denver Metro Chamber’s Leadership Denver program.

Greta attended Baylor University on a tennis scholarship, played professionally and was a tennis coach for several years before moving to Colorado. She enjoys seeing live music with her husband, Clark, and friends, especially at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. Greta will follow the band My Morning Jacket anywhere and also loves musical groups Phish, Radiohead, War on Drugs, Lucius, Lord Huron, and Phosphorescent. When she’s not working, you can find her at a pilates class or concert. Greta and Clark have a son Connor who recently graduated from the University of North Carolina where he was a sabre fencer for the Tar Heels. She thrives on people interaction, so feel free to send her an email!
