Katie Chandler

Program Director

Born in Chicago with a fierce passion for international development work, Katie has spent almost half her professional life in Latin America and has worked all over the world. She’s served as the program director for other international nonprofit organizations, such as Etta Projects and Healing Waters, which serve the global poor through safe water and sanitation solutions and health and hygiene education. Katie joined Bridge of Life in 2014. As a Program Director, she develops CKD treatment and prevention programs that engage over a thousand volunteers annually to strengthen kidney care globally. She holds a Master’s of Science in Organizational Management with a concentration in Sustainable Development from the School of International Training in Vermont, a BA in both Spanish and Behavioral Science & Law from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and most recently earned Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification through the Project Management Institute.

Katie currently lives in Golden, Colorado with her daughter Koah and dog Sunny. They love to explore the outdoors and travel to new places. During her free time, you can find her running the trails, skiing in the Colorado mountains, seeing live music, and enjoying quality time with friends and family.
