Senior Program Director
Sara hails from New Mexico and joined Bridge of Life in 2011, where she now leads their mission to strengthen healthcare globally through sustainable programs that prevent and treat chronic disease. Prior to Bridge of Life, Sara was the Director of C.U.R.E. Clinics at Project C.U.R.E. She has served for 12 years as the chairman of the board for Project El Crucero, a non-government organization that facilitates healthcare development in Nicaragua. Sara received her BA in Marketing and Journalism from the University of New Mexico and her Masters of Development Practice at Regis University in Colorado. Her 13 years of healthcare development experience supports her passion as an advocate for health equity and access in underserved populations
Sara and her husband have four daughters and consider themselves semi-native Coloradans after living over 20years in the Centennial state. In her spare time, she enjoys running, spending time with her family and friends and traveling to Nicaragua.
