Kids’ Camps Program

Medical camps for kids help children with serious illnesses and life-altering medical conditions experience fun, exciting activities at a traditional summer camp without having the constant reminder of their illness.

Through its Kids’ Camps Program, Bridge of Life (BOL) places general practitioners, nurses, specialists, and non-clinical volunteers at medical camps for kids. BOL does not oversee camps, but instead supports them with volunteers who provide a safe and fun environment for the campers, allowing them to enjoy “just being a kid again.”

BOL partners with the following nonprofit organizations that provide medical camps for kids located in the United States:

  • Roundup River Ranch in Colorado
  • Victory Junction in North Carolina
  • The Painted Turtle in California
  • Flying Horse Farms in Ohio
