Volunteer Needs: Filled Two surgeons from Guatemala are participating in hands-on clinical training in Greenville, Mississippi to strengthen surgical kidney care in Guatemala

Volunteer Engagement: Approximately 25 people, supported by DaVita and the Y. This kidney health screening aligns directly with the Y’s organization’s mission to strengthen community well-being through prevention, empowerment, and equitable access to health resources FOR ALL. This screening supports our commitment to serving diverse and underserved communities, including Spanish-speaking families, immigrants, older adults, and individuals with limited access to healthcare. By integrating kidney screening into our current outreach and program structure, we further our mission to help all community members live healthier, longer, and more active lives.

Volunteer Engagement: BOL is working alongside DaVita’s Health Equity team and the YMCA. We're looking for providers in Tampa to volunteer.
